The PBR acquisition became Madura United known on January 10, 2016. The deal involves the PBR owner Arie Sutedy with Achsanul Qosasi, witnessed the Pelita Jaya founder, Nirwan Bakrie.
The deal also mentions not to include the name of Pelita in Madura United. Achsanul, the MUFC’s CEO brings the club to Madura, an island where the politician comes. MUFC also appoints Gomes de Oliviera, the Persela Lamongan former coach to handle the team.
Madura United 2016 MBB "Piala Gubernur Kaltim" Home Away Third Jersey - The home kit uses the MBB's white-red hoops design with a classic polo collar. The home color reflects the Madura’s greatness identity. The home shirts will be paired with predominantly black shorts and red socks.
Both of away and third shirts also use hoops designs. The away shirts are available in the blue-black hoops, while the third features two tones of green hoops. The Madura branding is located on shirts mid frontal, between the MBB's branding and MUFC's crest.
